What does the listed price include?

Roundtrip airfare from Florida to Cuba. 2 meals per day from Friday to Sunday. Lodging. Visa application. Ground transportation in Cuba. Roundtrip airfare from your place of home to Florida is not included.

 

Are my expenses for this trip tax deductible?

The above estimated expenses and any donations made to Cuba are tax deductible. You MUST send the funds directly to CPL International Ministries for us to issue a tax deductible receipt.

 

What if I don’t speak Spanish?

You will be assigned a translator for your team.

 

Can I do laundry there?

There are no laundry services in Cuba. However, some local church members may offer themselves to do your laundry at a reasonable cost.

 

Can I use my cell phone in Cuba?

You may or may not receive cell phone reception while in Cuba.

 

We strongly advise you to use caution when using your cell phone. You may be at risk of having your signal picked up by someone and return to the US with a large phone bill for calls you never made. REMEMBER YOUR COMMUNICATION MAY BE RECORDED OR SCREENED BY COMMUNIST AUTHORITIES.

To make calls, purchase a calling card while in Cuba. You may also ask to use the phone of the guest house you are staying in. Long distance calls are expensive. You must pay cash for the calls.
