Do you remember the last time you moved? I can only imagine the immense amount of preemptive preparation that occurred. From simply cancelling your cable service to scheduling the moving truck, it is quite the elaborate process.
Amidst the bloodshed and conflict in the Ukraine, thousands of human beings have been forced to move from their homes with just minutes to spare. In this moment of chaos and uncertainty, imagine having nobody to call and nowhere to go.
I wish I knew how to appeal to your heart of hearts.Tonight, when you get home close your eyes and imagine being fifteen and a half hours away from California and having none of the commodities surrounding you.
Then go to your wallet, pick up your credit card, and borrow a couple of dollars from yourself to extend the comfort and blessings of your home, room, or studio with a human being., a person you may never know, who may never be able to send you a THANK YOU card, but to whom you became the only HOPE in a place whereHOPE is gone.
Please, I beg for your help in providing an extended hand, in a place where very few are willing to do just that.
With fear but not discouraged,
